Playgrounds of the past
" Playground, a place which we are all familiar with. They gave us shelter, they gave us fun and eventually they gave us our memories."
Playgrounds are just nothing more than a child's play playground structure without our personal connection to it. These retro structures was built in 1970s. These animal play structure held memories of the past to generations of Singaporean and the identity of their childhood in Singapore. Some of these structures still stand today evolved into a local heritage icons in Singapore while most have been removed to meet up with the ever evolving needs of our new times.
